About Hollick-Kenyon, Edmonton
Hollick-Kenyon is a residential neighborhood in northeast Edmonton, named after Herbert “Bertie” Hollick-Kenyon, a pioneering aviator known for his Antarctic exploration flights. Development in the neighborhood began in the early 1990s and is now largely complete.
The area is primarily composed of single-detached homes, with some multi-family housing interspersed throughout. A school and park site lie at the heart of the neighborhood, providing green space and recreational opportunities. Residents also enjoy a network of pathways connecting residential areas to parks and a large stormwater pond in the southwestern quadrant.
Hollick-Kenyon is part of the Pilot Sound Area Structure Plan and is bordered by 167 Avenue to the north, 153 Avenue to the south, 50 Street to the east, and 59A Street to the west. A pipeline corridor running through the northern portion of the neighborhood offers additional linear park space.
