Belgravia, established in 1912 and named after a fashionable London district, is a charming Edmonton neighbourhood located between the University of Alberta’s main and south campuses. Bounded by University Avenue to the north, Belgravia Road to the south, the River Valley to the west, and 114 Street to the east, Belgravia is known for its tree-lined streets and character-filled homes. Originally developed by Robert Tegler, the area features a mix of low-density bungalows, semi-bungalows, and two-storey homes, with some high-density housing near its borders. The recent addition of an LRT stop enhances the community’s transit accessibility.
