Hairsine is a fully developed neighbourhood in Edmonton, situated between 137th Avenue, 144th Avenue, 36th Street, and Victoria Trail. Annexed by the city in 1961, Hairsine became part of the Clareview Outline Plan in 1972, with development occurring through the 1970s and 1980s. The neighbourhood primarily features row housing and low-rise apartments, offering a variety of housing options.
At the heart of Hairsine is a shared school and park site, and commercial amenities are readily accessible along 137th Avenue and Victoria Trail. The nearby Clareview Town Centre offers additional retail and services, including an LRT station for convenient transit access. The neighbourhood is named in honour of Albert Hairsine, the first mayor of the Town of Beverly, who served from 1948 to 1951.
