About Duggan, Edmonton
Duggan is a well-established community in Southwest Edmonton, located west of Gateway Boulevard and south of 49th Avenue. Known for its large annual soccer tournament, the neighborhood features ample park space, playgrounds, a hockey rink, and a school.
Originally owned by pioneer J.J. Duggan, the area was subdivided in the 1960s and developed primarily in the ’60s and ’70s. The neighborhood showcases curvilinear streets with single-detached homes, along with apartments and some semi-detached housing. Duggan has excellent connectivity, with easy access to Whitemud Drive and Calgary Trail.
