King Edward Park, developed mainly in the 1950s, is a quiet residential neighborhood featuring single-family homes, infill housing, and duplexes. It offers excellent access to the river valley trails, University of Alberta, and Whyte Avenue.
Bounded by 82nd and 76th Avenues, the area was annexed in stages from 1907 to 1960. Historic railway tracks have been replaced with scenic pathways. Higher-density housing and commercial areas are concentrated along 82nd Avenue and near 75th Street. Named after King Edward VII, the neighborhood blends mature homes with ongoing redevelopment.
