Annexed in 1912, Ritchie’s growth was shaped by rail lines and streetcars. It features a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial properties, with single-detached homes, row housing, and apartments. Parks run through its center alongside schools. Named after Robert Ritchie, a former Strathcona mayor, its namesake Ritchie Mill remains a historic site on Saskatchewan Drive.
